Description

Centred on Bridim, a mountain village steeped in Tibetan culture and traditions, this trip is ideal for those who enjoy walking through beautiful scenery but who also want to spend time amongst the local people. Away from the main trekking routes, we walk through terraced fields and verdant valleys in the beautiful Langtang National Park to reach Bridim, where we are assured of the warmest of welcomes. Staying in simple yet comfortable village houses, we spend time here getting to know the local people and have the opportunity to share in their daily activities and regular festivities.This trek gives a genuine insight into traditional rural life in Nepal.

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu
Day 2: Half day sightseeing in Kathmandu
Day 3: Drive to Syabru Besi (1,450 m/4818 ft), approx. 8 hours drive
Day 4: Trek to Bridim (2,195m/ 7,243ft), 3–4 hour walk
Day 5: Explore the village and experience life in rural Nepal
Day 6: Trek to Goddekhang (3270m/10,790ft), 4-5 hour walk
Day 7: Return to Bridim (2,195m/ 7,243ft), 2-3 hour walk
Day 8: Trek to Thuman (2,400m/7,920ft) via Lingling 4-5 hour walk
Day 9: Trek to Nagthali (3,165m/10,444ft) 4 hour walk
Day 10: Trek to Syabru Besi (1,460m/4,818ft), 6 hour walk
Day 11: Drive to Kathmandu, approx. 6 hour drive
Day 12: International departure
