Tamang Heritage of Gatlang is a journey beyond the cities and through the doors of the ethnic Tamang community of Gatlang - a picturesque village situated in a valley in the high Himalayas of Nepal, close to the border with Tibet. | Day 1: | Arrive in Kathmandu and check into your hotel. Visit Wildlife Conservation Nepal office to learn about their important work in protecting and conserving natural heritage of Nepal. Savor a welcome dinner of traditional Nepali meal accompanied by folk dance |
| Day 2: | Discover the Kathmandu Valleys medieval art and architecture, ancient culture and spiritual heritage on guided tours of Boudha Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Bhaktapur Durbar Square - designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. |
| Day 3: | Travel overland to Gatlang (2,238 m/7,345 ft). Enjoy scenic gorges and valleys of Nuwakot & Rasuwa districts. On arrival, receive a warm welcome and check into your eco-lodge for 3 nights. |
| Day 4: | Start your day with guided yoga and meditation. Explore Parbati Kunda, a pristine alpine wetland holding spiritual significance. Enjoy a tour of the yak cheese factory and spend time at your leisure. Learn to make momo - a favorite snack of Nepal. |
