Description

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu. Visit the Monkey Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square before trip briefing.
Day 2: Warm up ride around Kathmandu valley.
Day 3: Transfer to Besisahar by van or bus (5 hours) with stunning views along the way. Short ride to Bhulbhuley (840m/2,750ft).
Day 4: Ride to Tal (1,700m/5,570ft) following the beautiful and narrow sub-tropical valley along the Marshyangdi river.
Day 5: Follow the jeep track with increasingly technical riding as we continue our climb up the valley and enter into alpine pine forest before reaching Chame (2,670m/8,750ft), headquarters of Manang district.
Day 6: Ride through the widening valley to reach Manang (3,540m/11,600ft) in the highlands. Manang, the regional capital and the main market town of the district, offers plenty to explore & amazing views of the Annapurna range.
Day 7: Rest day for altitude acclimatization. We will take our time to explore and enjoy the villages with the opportunity to ride some nice singletrack loops that take in the Sacred lake and Tibetan village.
Day 8: Short day distance-wise but with an important altitude gain. Passing through high altitude desert, we will take our time to reach Thorong Phedi (4,550m/14,920ft).
Day 9: Start early in the morning for a 5 hour walk/push/carry to reach the summit of Throng La pass (5,400m/17,716ft). Then, we ride an awesome 1,660m single-track descent all the way down to the pilgrimage village of Muktinath.
Day 10: Ride uphill to reach a summit (4,100m) before a long, beautiful single-track descent to Eklebhatti (2,800m). Rest and climb another summit (+800m) for a hair-raising downhill on small gravel. Spend the night in beautiful village of Marpha.
Day 11: Criss cross through Kali Gandaki valley on perfect single tracks and huge suspension bridges. End the ride in the hot springs of Taopani (1190m / 3905ft). The views along the way are spectacular as the trail runs between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs.
Day 12: Ride for a few hours on dirt trails to Beni, a small but vibrant town, before driving to Pokhara. The rest of the day is free to rest and relax.
Day 13: Rest day in the beautiful lake city of Pokhara.
Day 14: Fly to Kathmandu. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 15: Transfer to airport for journey back home.
