On this adventure holiday to Bhutan you will trek amidst mystical mountains with the chance to experience the fascinating culture, people and places of the ‘Kingdom of the Thunder Dragon’. 

Day 1: Arrive in Paro, Bhutan and transfer to hotel. Take an orientation walk of Paro before dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 2: Hike to the stunning Taktsang Monastery (Tigers Nest) built in the 16th century. After lunch, hike back down to Kyichu Temple, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.
Day 3: Trek to Jele Dzong at 3450m/11,319ft (5-6 hrs) before camping overnight.
Day 4: Trek to Tshanula village through rhododendron and conifer forests and scenic meadows before a short ride to Thimphu, the capital city.
Day 5: Sightseeing tour of the National Memorial Chorten, the15th century Changangkha Temple, the National Textile Museum, the Institute of Arts and Crafts, theTakin sanctuary and the Zilukha nunnery. In the evening visit Tashichhoe Dzong built in 1702.
Day 6: Enjoy a short hike in Lobeysa to Chime Lhakhang, built in 1499. Continue on to Gangtey for a night in a familys farmhouse.
Day 7: Enjoy some sightseeing in Gangtey before driving to the ancient capital of Punakha. Take in the panoramic views of the Himalayas before descending into Punakha Valley.
Day 8: Enjoy Punakha before driving to Haa Valley. Take in more scenic Himalayan Ranges and valleys. Visit the white temple (Lhakhang Karpo) before an evening walk around town.
Day 9: Drive through the Chelela Pass before a hike (2 hrs) to Kila Monastery. Continue on to Paro with free time to relax and to pick up some souvenirs.
Day 10: Transfer to airport for departure to home country.
